By using this application, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy and the data practices described here. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle information when you use Inspection Logging. We do not sell customer data.

Information We Collect

  • Account data: name, email, organization, role, and authentication details.
  • Service data: locations, assets, inspection records, certificates, audit logs, support messages, and uploaded files.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser/device details, and basic usage and security logs.
  • Billing data: subscription and payment metadata through third-party payment processors.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service:

  • Essential cookies: required for authentication, session management, and security. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics: we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with the Service. Clarity may record clicks, scrolls, and session activity to help us identify usability issues and improve the experience. Clarity data is processed by Microsoft under its own privacy terms.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning correctly.

How We Use Information

  • Operate and secure the service.
  • Authenticate users and enforce permissions.
  • Generate reports, exports, reminders, and notifications.
  • Provide support and respond to requests.
  • Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and improve product quality.

When We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share data only as needed to:

  • Some records (such as audit logs) may be retained according to your plan settings.
  • When accounts are closed, deletion follows our account closure and retention processes.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law. Notification will be provided through the email address associated with your account and, where appropriate, through in-app notices.

Your Choices and Rights

  • You can update profile and organization information in account settings.
  • You can manage users, role access, and location access inside your organization.
  • You can export data from built-in export tools based on your plan.
  • You can submit requests through in-app Support for account-level privacy requests.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us through in-app Support.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information.
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals. At this time, the Service does not respond to DNT signals.

Data Location and Transfers

Inspection Logging is operated from the United States. By using the service, you understand data may be processed and stored in the United States and in other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The date at the top shows when this page was last revised. Continued use of the service after updates means the revised policy applies.
